What is a cosmetic dentist?
A cosmetic dentist is a dentist who has decided to focus their attention on helping people improve their appearance by using one or more cosmetic dental procedures. When someone does not like the way they look when they smile, they will often cover their mouth or not smile at all. Dental Veneers
Why would a dental patient be in need of dental veneers? Because they want to improve the overall appearance of their teeth. There are many things that can happen to teeth that can make them look aesthetically unappealing, including chips or cracks, large gaps, minor crookedness, minor alignment issues, discolorations, teeth that are too big or too small or teeth that are worn down due to bruxism.
A dental veneer is made up of thin layers of a special dental material. Each and every veneer is carefully made by a cosmetic dentist so it will cover the cosmetic problem the dental patient has. Once a veneer has been shaped correctly, it will then be applied to the tooth using special bonding cement. Veneers are extremely durable, can be taken care of just like natural teeth and can last anywhere between 10 and 15 years.

Before Invisalign clear aligners became available, many people with crooked teeth would choose to live with their crooked teeth vs. having to wear traditional metal braces. But all that is now changed! Modern advances in dental technologies allow for new teeth-straightening options, giving people choices.
Invisalign aligners are also known as clear orthodontic aligners. They can straighten teeth, help correct overbites and underbites, fix an overcrowded mouth and minimize or eliminate any gaps in between the teeth.
How do Invisalign aligners work? Instead of attaching brackets and wires to one's teeth that need to be periodically tightened, Invisalign aligners work by using a series of premade aligners that are worn for a certain period of time. Wearers simply fit the aligners over their teeth, which will need to be worn for about 20 to 22 hours a day. This means that the aligners can be taken out of the mouth when eating, drinking, brushing one's teeth, etc. There are a few simple rules that must be followed in order to take proper care of the aligners, making this teeth-straightening choice great for busy people who want to be discreet when getting their teeth straightened.
Crowns
In order for a dental crown to be made, a mold of the patient's teeth must be taken, which will then be sent out to a dental lab to create. Once the lab has created the crown, it will be sent back to the dental office so it can be placed on the patient's tooth.
There are a few different material options when choosing crowns for cosmetic reasons, which is necessary because not every type of crown material will work the same for everyone.
CEREC Crowns

A CEREC crown will fit in beautifully with the rest of the teeth, making it difficult for anyone to tell the difference between a natural tooth and a tooth that has been fitted with a CEREC crown. With proper care, CEREC crowns can easily last up to 15 years or longer.
